BAKING FOR OVER 100 YEARS

Fitzbillies is a Cambridge institution, delighting town, gown and visitors alike with our buns, cakes and pastries for over 100 years. First opened by Ernest and Arthur Mason in 1920 with their demob money after the First World War, Fitzbillies has been through war, bankruptcies and fire, growing from the original Trumpington Street branch to a thriving collection of bakeries and coffee shops today.

HANDMADE IN CAMBRIDGE

We're proud to be a local, artisan bakery, making our own buns, pastries, bread and cakes 362 days a year. From classic recipes like our Chelsea buns and Fitzbillies sponge cakes to innovative sourdough loaves, our bakers are second to none. Whether it's your morning croissant, a Chelsea bun treat or a wedding cake, we pour care and expertise into everything we make.

Addenbrooke's Tea Party

This year, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), the official hospital charity for both Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals, is celebrating its 30th birthday.

For its 30th year, ACT is asking fundraisers to ‘pour a little kindness’ for the hospitals by hosting a tea party for Addenbrooke’s.

To mark this special milestone, Fitzbillies is donating 20% of this Addenbrooke's Tea Party collection to the charity, to help individuals and organisations host their own tea parties and raise money for the charity.

Support the wonderful work of Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust with extra special chocolate cupcakes, scones, jam and cream, or perhaps even a Chelsea bun or two.
