WEDDING CAKES AT FITZBILLIES

Enjoy an extra slice of delight - and Cambridge history - on your wedding day with a Fitzbillies wedding cake.

Fitzbillies has been baking and decorating beautiful and delicious wedding cakes since 1920, though tastes have changed a bit since then!

We offer a selection of beautiful fuss-free wedding cakes to delight your guests, decorated in beautiful smooth buttercream or semi-naked and finished with fresh berries, edible pressed flowers, or gold leaf.

HOW TO ORDER

Ordering your wedding cake couldn’t be easier.

Simply look through our flavours and finishes, check how much cake you need, and get in touch with our cake specialists to place your order.

All cakes must be collected from our bakery in Harston. We take a maximum of three wedding cake bookings for any given weekend, so please make sure you order early - especially if your wedding is in July or August - to avoid disappointment.

You can choose different flavours for different tiers, with a few important exceptions (for example, we don’t recommend red velvet as a base tier unless the whole cake is red velvet - it’s too moist and delicious!).

We recommend vegan or low gluten cakes are ordered as separate full cakes or cupcakes for specific guests, not mixed as tiers with standard flavours.

Please note: we don’t offer semi-naked cakes with red velvet or chocolate sponge.

CUPCAKES

£4 per cupcake, minimum order 12.

Cupcakes are perfect for guests who need vegan or low-gluten options - or if you need a few more servings.

CUTTING CAKES

If you have a large guest list, you can opt for an elegant wedding cake, with cutting cakes on the side for your caterers to serve. These are rectangular cakes that are really easy to cut into even pieces, and can match the flavour and finish of your wedding cake.

CAKE COLLECTION

All our wedding cakes are collection only from our bakery at 59-61 High Street, Harston, Cambridge, CB22 7PZ.

Collection is free and we will provide extra decorations and finishes (eg icing and fresh berries or pressed flowers) so that the cake can be perfected at the venue.

You can collect your wedding cake, usually the morning of your event, and transport it to your venue. (We find this is perfect for one or two enthusiastic family members who need a job to do!)

You’ll need to have somewhere to put your cake! We don’t provide cake stands, cake slices, or cake knives, so you’ll need to work with your venue or caterer to ensure that you have what you need to display and serve your wedding cake.

We recommend choosing the location of your cake well in advance of it arriving, especially if we are delivering your cake.

Unfortunately we're unable to offer delivery on wedding cakes.

Our Harston bakery is ideal for cake collection and offers free parking on site.
