Overview

We’ve been baking our famous ultra sticky Chelsea buns since 1920. You can now enjoy our famously sticky Chelsea bun and our newest additions of chocolate and salted caramel and cinnamon and cream cheese from the comfort of your own home.

Each box contains:
> 4 part baked Chelsea buns
> 4 part baked Chocolate buns
> 4 part baked Cinnamon buns
> 1 pot of bun syrup
> 1 pot of salted caramel
> 1 pot of cream cheese
> Salt

Serving & Storage

For the best results, we recommend baking and eating your buns on the day they arrive.

1. Prepare
Preheat your oven to 2000C, remove all packaging from your buns and place them on a baking tray.

2. Bake
Place your buns in the middle of the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden in colour. Remove from oven once fully baked.

3. Toppings

> Chelsea Buns <
Remove the top of the syrup container and place it loosely back on the top of the pot. Warm in a microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds at medium heat (600w).

Pour half of the syrup over the top of the warm buns, then flip the buns over and pour the remainder of the syrup over the bun bottoms.

Allow the buns to cool for 5 minutes upside down then turn over to serve.

Remove the top of the salted caramel container and place it loosely back on the top of the pot. Warm in a microwave for 1 minute at medium heat (600w).

Pour the salted caramel over the buns. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.

> Cinnamon and cream cheese buns <
Allow your buns to cool for 5 minutes and then apply the cream cheese topping.

Caution – once baked the buns and syrup will be extremely hot.

All of our buns may contain traces of egg, milk or nuts as all our products are made in a small bakery where these ingredients are used.

Delivery

Our Fitzbillies bake-at-home mixed buns are only available for delivery within the United Kingdom.

> Orders placed before 2:00pm will be posted on the next working day

If you would like your gift box to arrive for a birthday or occasion, please select 'specific date entry' from the calendar on the checkout page but please note that the day you select is the dispatch day not the delivery day.

Our FAQs

When will my items be delivered?

At checkout you will be offered the choice of delivery by Royal Mail's Tracked 24 hour service, Special Delivery Next Day 1pm, local bike courier delivery or local collection.

Some products, for instance delicate celebration cakes, are for local collection only. You are also offered a choice of dispatch date.

Please note this is a dispatch date, not a guaranteed delivery date. If you opt for delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24 and you specially want to receive your item by a particular date we recommend selecting a despatch date 48 hours ahead to avoid disappointment. The Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service is an aim rather than a guarantee.

How can I track my delivery?

Knowing where your parcel is and when it's going to arrive is vital, that's why we only offer a tracked service on all products.

Can I microwave Chelsea Buns?

In short, yes!

Our Chelsea buns are best consumed on day of arrival and will last up-to 7 days but they can be microwaved to 'revive' them but we only recommend doing so one bun at a time and for 20 seconds on a medium heat.

What is a Postcard & Gift Note?

All items are packed with a standard postcard which outlines some of our history alongside serving suggestions and allergens.

You also have the option of adding a personalised gift note with a message from the sender, we recommend adding this if you are sending them for a birthday or special occasion.
