We’ve been baking our famous ultra sticky Chelsea buns since 1920. You can now enjoy our delicious recipe from the comfort of your own home.

We send our buns part-baked for delivery across the UK so no matter how far you are from one of our heritage Cambridge branches you can enjoy a wonderfully warm bun anytime, anyplace.

Bake At Home Chelsea Buns need to be finished in the oven before consuming. Full instructions are included with the product.

Can be frozen on the day of arrival and defrosted before finishing in the oven.

Store in the fridge or freeze for up to 1 month.

WHAT MAKES OUR BUNS SO SPECIAL?

We've been baking Chelsea buns since 1920 - and we're famous for it. We still bake them by hand, to the original, secret recipe - over 300,000 a year of them. Sticky, sweet and memorable, these buns are a must-try for visitors to Cambridge and a regular treat for many of the locals.

CHELSEA BUN FAQs

In short, yes! Our Chelsea buns are best consumed on day of arrival and will last up-to 7 days but they can be microwaved to 'revive' them but we only recommend doing so one bun at a time and for 20 seconds on a medium heat.

Our Chelsea buns can be frozen in an airtight container upon arrival. Simply defrost fully prior to eating.

We suggest following the Serving & Storage suggestions that arrive with the buns, which advise how best to heat Chelsea Buns individually in the microwave once defrosted.

Chelsea Bun syrup should be stored at room temperature, in an airtight container.

As well as our original, bestselling Chelsea buns, we also offer bake at home buns for fresh-from-the-oven deliciousness.

For special occasions, we have Chelsea bun cakes, Chelsea bun number cakes and trays of buns, perfect for parties.

There’s also various seasonal flavours to enjoy, and for Cambridge locals you can visit our cafés for our famous Chelsea bun ice cream.

Truly scrumptious !

The best ever Chelsea buns! Dare we say they tasted even better ( if that is possible ) than we remembered on our first visit to the famous Cambridge cafe. Definitely our top Christmas present. Well done daughter ! Simple instructions, very well packed. Freeze well. Two of us resisted eating six at one sitting! A thoroughly recommended treat.

My mother received these for her birthday - 6 buns and two pots of syrup (bonus!) After cooking, the aroma was amazing. The syrup becomes very runny in the microwave, so maybe spoon it into a ramekin before microwaving to avoid spilling it. Three people, six buns, no need for supper…
