The Fitzbillies Chocolate Number Cake is a chocolate lover’s birthday delight of moist chocolate sponge, smooth chocolate buttercream and a riot of chocolate and salted caramel macarons and decorations.

Whether you're celebrating a 5th birthday, a 21st or a 40th birthday, this cake is a real show-stopper! Each number serves 25-35 people, depending on how generous you're feeling.

Handmade to order in our artisan bakery. Please allow at least 7 days notice from date of order.

Overview

Two layers of moist chocolate sponge baked in the shape of your birthday number or numbers; filled and topped with chocolate icing and lavishly decorated with chocolate and salt caramel macarons, Maltesers, chocolate curls and Ferrero Rocher.

Perfect for celebrating the special birthdays of chocolate lovers - whether that is 1 or 100.

Serving & Storage

Store at cool room temperature. Once cut store in an airtight tin or protect the cut edge with cling film or foil.

> Select one or two digits to make up the age you need. If you need 3 digits just get in touch and we can sort that out.

> As a guide, the height of each number is xxx inches.

> The amount of cake in individual numbers varies a little.

> Each digit serves between 25 and 35 people.

CAKE contains Wheat, Egg, Milk, and Soya

TOPPINGS contain Nuts (Almonds and Hazelnuts), Milk, Egg, Wheat, Barley, Soya

Caramel macaron contains E102 which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children

All our cakes are made in our artisan bakery where nuts are used.

Delivery

Our number cakes are only available for collection from our bakery, 31b Clifton Road, Cambridge.

> All our number cakes require at least a 7 day notice period from the date of order.

Our FAQs

When will my items be delivered?

Some products, for instance delicate celebration cakes, are for local collection only.

For postable products, at checkout you will be offered a choice of delivery dates. If you select Royal Mail Tracked 24, the day you select is the expected delivery day. However, this is a 1-2 day service, so it may arrive the day after your selected date. If you want to ensure you receive your item by a particular date, we recommend selecting Special Delivery, which is guaranteed delivery on that day before 1pm.

How can I track my delivery?

Knowing where your parcel is and when it's going to arrive is vital, that's why we only offer a tracked service on all products.

Can I microwave Chelsea Buns?

In short, yes!

Our Chelsea buns are best consumed on day of arrival and will last up-to 7 days but they can be microwaved to 'revive' them but we only recommend doing so one bun at a time and for 20 seconds on a medium heat.

What is a Postcard & Gift Note?

Chelsea buns are packed with a postcard which outlines some of our history alongside serving suggestions and allergens.

You also have the option of adding a personalised gift note with a message from the sender, we recommend adding this if you are sending them for a birthday or special occasion.
