Underwhelmed

I was disappointed with the mince pies this year from Fitzbillies. I think they did not travel well in the post. I'll think twice before re-ordering next year.

Best ever bought mince pies

These mince pies are without the most outstanding bought ones that I have ever tasted, I do have high standards regarding the foodstuffs that I buy and consume.
From the sublime light buttery pastry that does have a slight shortbread type flavour to it to the mincemeat which is packed full of vine fruits, the combination makes these mince pies unforgettable, moreish and certainly in my case want to hide them from guests & eat them all myself. I love them that much that I put in a second order, next year they will be the only ones that I buy!

Received my mince pies yesterday. Tucked in straight away. Crumbly, melt in the mouth pastry, with a decent amount of filling. Absolutely delicious. The only problem is I have to stop myself from eating more than one a day!
