Our Chelsea buns are made to the same vegan-friendly recipe as they were in 1920! Choose our fully-baked buns or the bake-at-home version, which are part-baked are ready for you to finish in your own oven for the freshest buns at home.

Please note that we cannot guarantee our products are free from allergens such as dairy.

  • Mini Loaf Cakes: Consume within 5 days. 
  • Chelsea Buns: Consume within 3 days. Can be frozen on the day of arrival and defrosted before warming in the microwave. Bake-at-home buns have baking instructions included.
  • Chelsea Bun Biscuits: Best enjoyed within 7 days of opening. Consume before best before date as stated on the product.

Order before 12 noon every weekday for next day delivery.

Standard delivery is 1-2 days with Royal Mail Tracked 24, or by 1pm on your chosen day with Special Delivery.

Fitzbillies is a Cambridge institution, delighting town, gown and visitors alike with our buns, cakes and pastries for over 100 years. First opened by Ernest and Arthur Mason in 1920 with their demob money after the First World War, Fitzbillies has been through war, bankruptcies and fire, growing from the original Trumpington Street branch to a thriving collection of bakeries and coffee shops today.

We're proud to be a local, artisan bakery, making our own buns, pastries, bread and cakes 362 days a year. From classic recipes like our Chelsea buns and Fitzbillies sponge cakes to innovative sourdough loaves, our bakers are second to none. Whether it's your morning croissant, a Chelsea bun treat or a wedding cake, we pour care and expertise into everything we make.
