It is well-known that new parents need an energy boost every now at then, which is why this bakery box is the perfect way to celebrate a new arrival in the world!

For many years, we've seen orders for Chelsea buns get sent out with a gift note congratulating new parents on a new baby, so we know our buns are regularly requested in the newborn phase. This new baby hamper combined delicious buns in a choice of flavours with a choice of Fitzbillies biscuits and the all-important box of tea to keep spirits up.

Once you've chosen the best bun flavour, we'll add a little extra 'congratulations' wrapping.

Quick note: you can make this gift box vegan by choosing Chelsea buns and Chelsea bun biscuits.

HAMPER CONTENTS

  • Your choice of 6 buns: Fully Baked Chelsea Buns (best for busy parents!), Bake-At-Home Chelsea Buns, Bake-At Home Cinnamon Buns with Cream Cheese Icing, Bake-At-Home Nutella Buns, or Bake-At-Home Cheese & Marmite Buns
  • Your choice of biscuits: Butter Shortbread, Chocolate Chip Shortbread or Chelsea Bun Biscuits
  • Box of 15 English Breakfast Tea Temples

Bun choices:

  • Chelsea Buns (fully baked or bake-at-home): Wheat
  • Cinnamon Buns with Cream Cheese Icing (bake-at-home): Wheat, milk
  • Nutella Buns: Wheat, Milk, Nuts (Hazelnuts), and Soy
  • Cheese & Marmite Buns: Wheat, Barley, Oats, Rye, Milk, and Celery

Biscuit Choices:

  • Shortbread: Contains wheat and milk

All biscuits are suitable for vegetarians. Chelsea bun biscuits are also suitable for vegans.

Please note that all our products may contain traces of gluten, milk, eggs, and nuts, as they are made in a bakery where these ingredients are used. 

Bake-At-Home Buns (if selected):

  • Bake At Home Buns need to be finished in the oven before consuming. Full instructions are included with the product.
  • Best enjoyed on the day of arrival, after finishing in the oven.
  • Consume within 3 days of baking.
  • Can be frozen on the day of arrival and defrosted before finishing in the oven.

Fully Baked Chelsea Buns (if selected):

  • Best enjoyed on the day of arrival. Consume within 3 days of arrival.
  • Can be frozen on the day of arrival and defrosted before warming in the microwave.
  • Store in an air-tight container or freeze for up to 1 month.

Fitzbillies Biscuits:

  • Best enjoyed within 7 days after opening. Consume before best before date as stated on the product.
  • Store in an airtight container.

English Breakfast Tea Temples:

  • Steep in freshly boiled water for 3-5 minutes, or to taste. Add milk and sugar to taste.
  • Best best date printed on box.

Fitzbillies is a Cambridge institution, delighting town, gown and visitors alike with our buns, cakes and pastries for over 100 years. First opened by Ernest and Arthur Mason in 1920 with their demob money after the First World War, Fitzbillies has been through war, bankruptcies and fire, growing from the original Trumpington Street branch to a thriving collection of bakeries and coffee shops today.
